  We had the most amazing experience with Southern Cross Funerals. Their care, support and professionalism was absolutely outstanding.
  Matthew was a godsend to us. His knowledge of the process as well as our cultural traditions made dealing with him a pleasure. Matthew visited us to ensure we were informed and comfortable every step of the way. He also brought empathy and kindness and by the end we honestly felt like we had known him for years.
  The funeral for our beloved dad was exactly as we and he would have wished and we felt such a sense of peace that we were able to farewell him at such a beautiful funeral. I would not hesitate to thoroughly recommend Southern Cross Funerals and the amazing Matthew.

  I couldn’t think of a more caring, attention to detail, supportive company. As someone who is in the funeral industry I can confidently say Southern Cross is the best there is. Matt took care of my Nan with so much love and care, he made the entire process so much easier during such a hard time. I am forever grateful I got to give my nan the best send off with the support of Matt and the team at Southern Cross. Every mourner commented on how perfectly beautiful the service was and I couldn’t be more thankful that I chose Southern Cross.

  I highly recommend Southern Cross Funeral Directors. Matthew and his team took all the worry out of mum’s funeral arrangements with his professional and compassionate manner. We were traumatised and needed guidance. Everything about the funeral was beautiful and a fitting farewell for our beloved wife and mother. The coffin was small and gorgeous just like mum. The flowers were stunning and the dignity afforded to mum was exceptional.
  Matthew and his team do beautiful funerals for women and are more reasonably priced than their competitors. Nothing was too much trouble and we were touched by the care and concern shown by Matthew.

  I would Love to thank Matt & his amazing team. With all your wonderful & heartfelt help with the professional service for my grandfather. I can’t recommend your service & support with helping with all the funeral arrangements. My family & self were very greatful with all of your time & making it very easy. You are an amazing & kind funny person. Made all of our lives easier as we were grieving & you can’t always remember at the difficult & overwhelming times what you actually need to organise.

  We recently lost my Mum Helen & we trusted Matthew & his team to take care of Mum & prepair her for her final journey. Right from the beginning when we contacted Southern Cross Funerals Matthew come in on a public holiday so we could complete the arrangements at a time that suited our family. Everything right from the beginning was made so much easier at this lowest time in our lives with the way Matthew advised us on what he believed with his vast experience was the important issues we needed to consider, he took care of all the things that mattered most to us, was able right from that first meeting to make us feel so at ease & made us feel so safe & comfortable that Mum would be taken care of. My Dad whom had been married to Mum for 56 years was left feeling relieved after I was able to convey all the important issues to my Dad from the Information Matthew provided.On the day of the funeral everything went smoothly the whole process at the Church & later af the Cemetery went so smoothly.Our family & friends commented on how well the day went, I personally thought I'd struggle a lot more but I was constantly reassured by Matthew which put me at ease. The costs given Matthews experience & guidance was very, very reasonably. I will be recommending Matthew & his team to any family & friends who are looking for what I believe are the best Funeral Directors in Sydney. Thanks Matt & team.
